At Centner Academy, our goal is to ensure that food serves its primary purpose: nourishing the body’s cells with high-quality energy to optimize their functions. We understand that each specialized tissue in the body requires specific nutrients to perform its functions, including the brain, nervous system, vital organs, muscles, and bones.

To fuel our students and staff, we carefully select the highest quality foods that are fresh, natural, and unadulterated. Our nutritious, gluten-free meals are designed to help prevent disease, reduce inflammation, improve intestinal functionality, and enhance mental and physical health, all while providing flavors that rival conventional foods.

Our menu is consistently 100% organic, 100% non-GMO, gluten-free, low in dairy, and without added sugar. We never process our food, and we always source locally when possible. We incorporate Superfoods, such as ginger, hemp, quinoa, cinnamon, turmeric, curcumin, rosemary, and basil, to improve concentration, memory, and mood while supporting a healthy lifestyle.

In addition, our lunch includes a colorful salad bar with fresh vegetables, proteins, and healthy dressing options. We recognize that high-quality nutrition is essential for healthy brain development, and we are proud to continue to support our students in this way. Ultimately, we believe that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and spirit.

Centner Academy is proud to have two highly skilled culinary experts leading our team of chefs: Chef Federica Schael and Culinary Director, Andreas Schreiner. Chef Federica brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our school. Her passion for creating delicious, healthy, and aesthetically pleasing meals is evident in every dish she prepares for our students and staff.

As Culinary Director, Andreas Schreiner oversees all aspects of our culinary program and is responsible for ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of quality and nutrition. His expertise in nutrition and his commitment to using the freshest, most wholesome ingredients are integral to our school’s culinary philosophy, and he works closely with our team of chefs to create menus that are not only delicious but also highly nutritious.

By providing gluten-free, nutritious meals to our students, we aim to help prevent disease, decrease inflammation, increase intestinal functionality, improve mental and physical health, with flavors that rival conventional foods!

A colorful Salad Bar is included with lunch daily that incorporates fresh vegetables, proteins, and healthy dressing options.

Chef Gonzalo Ramia of DragonFly Chef is our local School Lunch & Snack Chef who prepares our food daily. Gonzalo has experience in a range of cuisines including Mediterranean, Latin, Italian, Spanish and Asian cuisines, which we make sure to integrate into our diverse menu selections.

We know that high quality nutrition is essential for healthy brain development, and we are very happy to continue to support our students in this way. After all, a healthy body also means a healthy mind and spirit.
